On February 8 - 12, 2016, NatLaw was represented by Dr. Marek Dubovec at UNCITRAL's 29th session of Working Group VI (Security Interests), held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
On February 4th and 5th, 2016, the Presidential Council of Competitiveness and Innovation of Costa Rica (Consejo Presidencial de Competitividad e Innovación), the Costa Rican Central Bank (Banco Central de Costa Rica) and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce of Costa Rica (Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Comercio) co-hosted NatLaw’s two-day capacity building session on the recently enacted Costa Rican secured transactions law.
The Global Chamber will be hosting Mayor Jonathan Rothschild at the 1st Annual Grow Globally Tucson Fair at the National Law Center for Inter-American Trade on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
"Rethinking collateral: Using moveable assets to boost business in Liberia" was just released by the IFC. This video highlights Liberia's new collateral registry that NatLaw Senior Research Attorney, Dr. Marek Dubovec, assisted with.
